This is an opportunity for passionate people to join our library team as a Library Officer at the Legal Library. The job scope of a library officer includes the following:

• Performing amendments on government statutes
• Provision of library and information service to meet the needs of library users
• Providing reference and research services to library users
• Managing E-resources (online databases and e-journals, e.g. Lexis Advance, Westlaw, Lawnet, HeinOnline, etc.)
• Arranging inter-library loans and providing document delivery service
• Developing library collections and handling library resource acquisition

Due to the nature of the work in the law library, library officers are required to work in the library every day without option of flexible work arrangement (e.g. work from home).

You can apply for this job if you have the passion to work in an academic library and possess at least a diploma preferably with relevant working experience in a similar role. Experience is preferred but not mandatory.

As this is a fast-paced role, you will be a self-starter and highly motivated individual with strong organisational skills and meet the following requirements:

• Customer service-oriented
• IT savvy, hardworking, patient and meticulous
• A fast learner and team player
• Experience in legal environment beneficial
