· Manage the end-to-end operational execution of LNG spot and long-term trading transactions.
· Coordinate vessel nomination, cargo scheduling, loading and discharge operations, cargo delivery, invoicing, settlement and post-delivery reconciliation.
· Monitor cargo movements and ensure timely execution throughout the LNG trading lifecycle.
· Ensure all LNG operational activities are executed in accordance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
· Review and administer LNG trading agreements and operational documents, including Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), Master Agreements (MA), Confirmation Notices (CN), Bills of Lading, cargo certificates and settlement documents.
· Coordinate with traders and counterparties to ensure smooth contract execution.
· Maintain accurate contract documentation and operational records.
· Identify, assess and mitigate operational, contractual and shipping-related risks.
· Manage operational issues including cargo discrepancies, vessel delays, demurrage claims and contractual disputes.
· Develop and implement operational control measures to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
· Liaise with traders, finance, legal, shipping agents, surveyors, terminal operators, shipowners, banks and other external stakeholders to ensure efficient business execution.
· Coordinate internal departments to facilitate smooth execution of LNG trading transactions.
· Support business development activities from an operational perspective.
· Prepare operational reports, business statistics and management reports.
· Develop and maintain the standard, manual or procedures in relation to the operations
· Maintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with company policies, internal control requirements and applicable regulation, rules or laws.
· Support internal and external audit activities where required.
· Lead, supervise and develop the LNG Operations team.
· Allocate work assignments and monitor operational performance.
· Continuously improve operational processes and enhance overall team efficiency.
· Perform other duties and projects assigned by Management.
Requirements:
· Minimum Master Degree of Maritime Management, Transportation Planning and Management or equivalent.
· Minimum 15 years of experiences in the LNG trading and profound understanding of China gas market and global LNG market.
· Proficiency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
· Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
· Positive working attitude and ability to work independently.
· Able to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
