Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing and management of customers’ orders with timely deliveries.
- Shipment arrangements to be made in the most optimum manner.
- Act as a key interface for all customers’ orders and logistics enquiries.
- Point of contact for customers in all purchase orders and deliveries/ shipments concerns.
- Ensure prompt shipments/ deliveries (this may include short lead-time orders), and the ability to resolve issues when conflict arises.
- Knowledge of local and overseas regulations with proper documentation and e-filing of trade documents into company share drive.
- Timely keying in orders and acknowledgment of customer purchase orders.
- Logistics arrangements for deliveries and work with transporters/ forwarders/ warehouses to resolve any issues that may result in delayed or no shipment.
- Ensure no overdue customer orders; work closely with the sales team and business development team to clear overdue customer orders for deliveries/ shipments arrangement.
- Interface with team members before shipment of goods to customers with the objective of consolidation of deliveries for cost saving and control.
- Liaise with customers on deliveries/shipment dates and any special requirements about customers’ order fulfilments.
- Perform Goods Receive, Delivery Order, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Proforma Invoice, Sales Contract, liaise with forwarders on custom documents, etc.
- To provide inventory status report, customer PO listing, Vendor PO listing and stock summary and stock aging report and review with sales team.
- Responsible for processing and management of Purchase Orders to
- manufacturers/suppliers, and follow-up on shipment schedules, production schedules, shipments clearance, and management of inventory control.
- Escalation of orders with manufacturers/suppliers to fulfil customers’ requests.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and to handle challenging work demands and tight schedules.
- Able to make timely decisions in a high pressure environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and detailed oriented.
- Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
