Logistics Operations & Fleet Coordinator

As a Logistics Operations & Fleet Coordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring seamless coordination and execution of daily operations.

5.5 days work week

Mondays to Friday: 8AM to 5PM

Saturdays: 8AM to 12PM

Your key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating closely with the customer service department on job arrangements.
• Planning and prioritizing daily activities efficiently including Deployment of operational staff and heavy vehicle fleet.
• Overseeing the submission of name lists and other documents for pre-job clearance.
• Coordinating with trailer and crane subcontractors, when necessary.
• Ensuring job requirements are properly arranged and clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitoring job completion to ensure tasks are completed on time and up to service standards.
• Monitor drivers’ movement using the GPS Tracking System.
• Managing job documentation including Delivery Orders (DO) and job-related safety documents.
• Coordinating with the warehouse for all incoming and outgoing cargo.
• Arranging drivers for purchasing or collecting materials and equipment.
• Collaborating with other controllers for efficient job coordination.
• Assigning manpower to rectify safety findings as required.
• Coordinate training schedules and overtime arrangements for operations staff.
• Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Transportation or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics operations and fleet control
• Familiarity with Singapore’s road network to assign jobs effectively.
• Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and clients.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a strong team player.
• Meticulous attention to detail, a proactive attitude and a high sense of responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) and general PC literacy.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours to complete daily work schedules when necessary.
