Job Description - Lorry Driver

Job Description

  1. Drive the company lorry safely and responsibly to deliver goods according to the assigned schedule.
  2. Load, unload, and secure goods to prevent damage during transportation.
  3. Ensure accurate delivery and collection of goods, including verifying delivery orders (DOs), invoices, and other required documents.
  4. Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
  5. Plan delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  6. Assist in warehouse duties when required, including loading, unloading, and stock movement.
  7. Obtain customer signatures and complete all delivery documentation accurately.

Job Requirement

  1. Valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 Driving Licence (depending on the vehicle type).
  2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
  3. Good driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
  4. Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
  5. Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy goods.
  6. Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
  7. Good time management and organizational skills.
  8. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
