M&A Advisory Associate/Consultant (Japanese Speaking)

Monthly Salary: SGD 4,000 - 7,500

Our client, a large Japanese consulting firm that provides financial/strategic consulting and M&A solutions. As part of the Singapore M&A Advisory Unit, you will work closely with the Head of M&A advisory for M&A projects in various industries across South East Asia with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. You will assist M&A processes from start to end which includes the below

【What you will be working on】
- Deal sourcing of mid-market companies as well as later-stage startups
- Preparing proposals articulating the deals and the value proposition to the client
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams of financial, tax and legal experts to progress the transaction
- Able to read financial statements and conduct financial and business analysis
- Able to conduct research for market comparison analysis
- Create presentation materials for clients

【 What they are looking for 】

(Must)
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in English and Japanese (JLPT N3 and above) listening/speaking/writing is essential to liaise with counterparts
- Basic accounting/finance knowledge 

(Preferable) 
- Work Experience in Japanese companies in Japan or Singapore in the field of M&A, management consulting, corporate planning, business development, finance or sales and marketing is an advantage
- Experience with valuation and ability to build financial models is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
