What can you expect?

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Researcher who will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to power our recommendation system and search engine. In this role, you will have opportunities to work with state-of-the-art AI techniques, including large language and vision models, integrating them to complement our recommendation system and search architecture. You will also play a vital role in maintaining and evolving our AI systems throughout the different growth stages.

• Build scalable recommendation and search engines tailored to fashion content.
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of machine learning models, especially in the context of fashion recommendation systems and search engines.
• Integrate various techniques to help tackle cold start problems, including
• Content-based recommendation
• Leveraging implicit user interaction signals
• Large language (vision) models

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks (eg., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Prior hands-on experience with recommendation & search systems and knowledge of its key components (retrieval, re-ranking, cold-start, etc).
• Familiarity with using large language models and computer vision techniques.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of reinforcement learning (e.g. multi-armed bandits and related techniques).
• Prior industry experience with A/B tests in the context of recommendation systems.
• Good understanding of the infrastructure behind large-scale recommendation and search systems.
