Machinery Mechanic

Job Description

• Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices
• Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual)
• Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality
• Repair broken or faulty machine parts
• Monitor equipment status and update weekly report to management
• Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs
• Monitor and update the spare parts list in inventory record
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Follow company policy and safety rule regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.
• Performing general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
• Perform Ad Hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements and skills

• Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
• Great understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics
• Familiarity using various power and hand tools, such as hosts and grinders
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• High school diploma/GED/NITEC.
• A driver’s license is a plus
