Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, coordinates and oversees upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness of the companies’ buildings, facilities and machineries.
- Works within budgetary and compliance parameters to ensure upkeep of building facilities and machineries.
- Ensures legal compliance with governmental requirements.
- Ensures relevant maintenance strategies as well as industry best practices are applied to the activities for maintenance/modifications for plant equipment to achieve reliability and availability of plant equipment consistently.
- Works with other subsidiary companies on technology transfers to raise maintenance performance standards.
- Manages and coaches Maintenance team members.
- Plans and manages plant shutdown maintenance.
- Assesses and reviews contractors’ performance and timesheets.
- Undertakes special assignments or projects as directed by management.
QEHS Responsibility
Implements and abides by requirements set out in the Company’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System, ISO and OHSAS standards and applicable legal and other requirements.
- Co-ordinate with contractors, consultants and government agencies relating to the building maintenance and the renewal of licenses for all major equipment and installation in the premise.
- Supervise and verify all jobs done by contractors are complied with specifications, authorities' requirements and regulations.
- Responsible for the health and safety
Requirements:
- Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge about maintenance of mechanical plant equipment and facilities.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015,14001:2015 & 45001:2018.
- Experiences in the chemical or manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
- Team player, results-oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
