Maintenance Technician (Electrical) - Dynamic Team

1. Broad Functions:

The primary job responsibility of an electrical technician is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems to minimise downtime and ensure the reliability of equipment and systems.  They also assist in optimising equipment performance, improving energy efficiency, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements to contribute to overall operational efficiency. They play a vital role in collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders, working closely with engineers, supervisors, and operators to address technical challenges, provide technical expertise, and contribute to effective decision-making.

2. Job Description / Responsibilities:

2.1. Support dept TLs, engineers, and managers by ensuring all equipment are in ready-to-use conditions.

2.1.1. Repair work for plant equipment.

2.1.2. Daily hands-on troubling shoot, routine daily maintenance
2.1.3. Attend all maintenance job requests.
2.1.4. Respond to urgent breakdown.
2.1.5. Conduct root cause analysis for equipment breakdown.
2.1.6. Support teammates in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
2.1.7. Conduct MME validation and calibration.
2.1.8. Carry out dismantling, installation replacement works for faulty equipment or service equipment.
2.1.9. Perform stock takes and inventory updates.

2.2. Support TLs and engineers in reporting and managing external contractors.

2.2.1. Aid TL & engineers.  
2.2.2. Update of daily maintenance report when TL is absent.
2.2.3. Update routing preventive maintenance report.
2.2.4. Support engineer to supervise external contractor in servicing or maintenance work.

2.3. Participate in all health and safety initiatives and ensures all measures are adhered to

2.3.1. Conduct and adhere to the 5S routine daily. 
2.3.2. Involved in Work Improvement Suggestions, Safety near-miss, corrective & improvement works.
2.3.3. Conduct daily site inspections to spot anomalies.

3. Requirements:

3.1. Min an ITE NITEC Certificate in Electrical (Electrical) or equivalent 
3.3. At least 2 years of relevant working experience
3.4. Knowledge of Electrical
3.5. Able to do basic reporting writing. 
3.6. Ability to communicate in basic and simple English. 
3.7. Ability to do basic root cause analysis. 
3.8. Basic MS Office knowledge
3.9. Eligible for consideration for Snr Tech if achieve 80% of the skills list.
3.10. Independent worker without much supervision
3.11. Good team player who can work well with other teammates.
3.12. Positive working attitude
3.13. Willing to learn new things.
3.14. Self-motivated to achieve results without constant prompt.
3.15. Good health status for hands-on and manual work

4.1. Location: Jurong Island (Company Transport provided)
4.2. Commence work: ASAP.
4.3. Applicants can work in Singapore without requiring a work pass.
4.4. Working Hours: 12-hours Rotation Shift
