Recruit, mentor, and grow analysts, engineers, and contractors into high\u2013performing contributors. Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n * Yield \u0026 Process Optimization: Collaborate with semiconductor manufacturing engineering teams to analyze inline/param/probe data to identify top yield detractors and drive continuous improvement.\n * Data Pipeline \u0026 Automation: Extract, cleanse, and analyze datasets from SQL databases, sensor networks, and fabrication tool logs to support semiconductor manufacturing operations.\n * Advanced Analytics \u0026 Modeling: Apply data science techniques, statistical modeling, and machine learning to troubleshoot yield issues and support defect reduction strategies.\n * Experimentation Support: Assist process and integration engineers in running and analyzing Design of Experiments (DOE) to enhance process capabilities and margins.\n * Visualization \u0026 Communication: Develop automated reports and dashboards using visualization tools (e.g., Dash, Plotly, streamlit) to communicate technical concepts and project outcomes effectively to engineering stakeholders.\n * Cross\u2013Functional Execution \u0026 Governance: Manage a multi\u2013stream delivery portfolio with predictable, high\u2013quality releases. Partner with Yield, LPD, Cost, IET, Planning leaders to maintain prioritization, risk transparency, and dependency alignment.\n\n\n\nWhat You Bring:\n\nMinimum Required Qualifications/Experience \n\n * Masters in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering\n * Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is must. Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, equipment, and device physics is must.\n * Minimum 12+ years overall experience with at least 2-3 years\u0027 experience in leading global Analytics and/or Data Science teams.\n\n\n\nMust have Technical Skills\n\n * Programming \u0026 Data Engineering: Minimum 8 years of experience in Python programming skills and experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Cloud \u0026 Data Platforms: GCP Suite, Snowflake\n * Statistical Analysis: Minimum 8 years of expertise in role which is with statistical tools, methodologies (such as SPC, DOE, or FDC/EDA), and data-driven problem solving.\n\n\n\nHighly Desirable/Preferred skills or experience\n\n * Data Visualization: At least 8 years of working experience utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Dash, Plotly, Angular) to present complex engineering data clearly.\n * Engineering \u0026 Delivery: Experience in Github, JIRA will be plus.\n * Expertise in Code Gen tools: Code Assist, Open Code, Roo Code, Github copilot will be important.\n * Proven success delivering multi\u2013stream, cross\u2013functional data engineering programs.\n * Experience with AI\u2013driven engineering acceleration and modern data\u2013stack standardization.\n * Strong track record improving data quality, release predictability, and platform performance.\n * Ability to mentor technical talent and influence architectural direction.\n * Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross\u2013functional communication skills.\n * Knowledge of memory architecture (NAND) is added advantage.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nData Scientist Manager 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
