Summary:

Manager Design Enablement needs to have skill sets of project management to plan and execute multiple projects to ensure project completion with success. The staff should have high motivation and adequate hands-on experience for silicon photonics project management, new technology development, process robustness and quality continuous improvement. The staff needs to have an in-depth understanding of semiconduction process integration and fundamental knowledge on silicon photonics.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead PDK design enablement projects in coordination with other departments, ensuring timely releases that meet customer requirements.
• Leverage in-depth expertise in semiconductor process integration and silicon photonics to support development efforts and resolve challenges.
• Manage photonic design layouts compilation, DRC processes and mask tape-outs to ensure seamless PDK development project start and execution.
• Plan and execute multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes in silicon photonics R&D design enablement.
• Address technical inquiries and collaborate with the PDK team to enhance workflows and efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-department teams to resolve issues and drive operational improvements.
• Foster strong collaboration to achieve departmental objectives.
• Mentor team members to boost productivity and achieve departmental KPIs.
• To perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the company.

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a master’s degree or Ph. D in photonics, electrical engineering, physics, or any other related field.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of optical science and/or photonics technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred 5 and more years’ experience
• Practical knowledge in electrical and optical measurement of optical chip devices and systems.
• Hands-on experience in silicon photonics fabrication
• Strong self-motivation and interest in silicon photonics
• Passionate and creative, exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to think and strategize to complete experimental projects.
• Accountable and takes ownership, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
