You are required to develop strategies and program to ensure compliance to applicable regulations and in line with company EHSS policies. You will work and support leadership team in identifying priority and resources on EHSS program and objectives. You will also be responsible to interface with governmental agencies related to EHSS matters.\n\nResponsibilities and Tasks\n\n * Implement EHSS management systems in alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, local regulations, and company EHSS policy.\n * Ensure compliance to applicable regulations, and develop recommendations that provide solutions, remedies, or process alternatives.\n * Lead, plan and implement programs to support and achieve site safety KPIs and strategy objectives.\n * Build \u0026 maintain an Incident \u0026 Injury free workplace (Live Safe) for both Team Members and Contractors.\n * Plan, coordinate, and conduct periodic EHSS audits, surveys, and inspections to identify potential hazards.\n * Provide Management with technical guidance, regulatory advice, and training related to EHSS.\n * Oversee the process for reviewing and approving the use of chemicals, including safe storage and use, inventory tracking, regulatory reporting, disposal, and shipping.\n * Identify and develop EHSS training in accordance with company policy, EHSS goals, and local regulations.\n * Interface regularly with network and global EHSS team to ensure best practices are shared and incorporated.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n * 7 years of EHSS experience and the semiconductor industry.\n * At least 4 years of experience handling audits and ISO 14001/45001 management systems.\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n * Able to provide guidance to production and support workers regarding EHSS procedures.\n * Good teamwork skills and analytical capabilities\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSafety Manager 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
