Duties & Responsibilities - Maintenance of financial records, including input and postings of journals, accruals & prepayment
- Reconciliation of ledgers, bank and inter-company balances
- Prepare schedules of financial statements and analyse the monthly balance sheet items
- Prepare GST returns
- Prepare quarterly returns from Statistics Dept
- Prepare quarterly reporting package to holding company
- Prepare monthly and yearly tax computation, including deferred tax
- Maintain fixed asset master
- Liaise with external auditors on auditing and tax matters
- Keep abreast with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned
Skills & Experience - Accounting Degree / ACCA or equivalent
- At least 4-5 years in Finance and Accounting experience gained in Big 4 audit firms and commercial companies combined, preferably with high-technology industry exposure
- Candidates with working knowledge of SAP are at an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work independently; meticulous and have an eye for details
- Good team player with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in IFRS knowledge (especially IFRS 15 and 16)
- Familiar with the concept of GST, Withholding Tax and Corporate Tax in Singapor
