Manager II, Software (sys)

• Design and implement C/C++ software for real-time application and automation.

• Translate Functional Requirements into Technical Specifications and System Designs. Lead Software Design Reviews and contribute to platform evolution.

• Lead software defect resolution, formulate short term containment strategy and long-term improvement plan for software robustness and quality from development and test perspectives. 

• Lead collaboration with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• Lead adoption of modern software technology advancement, cultivate innovation, continuous improvement of software tools, workflows, and development practices.

• Build high performance software team via mentoring and coaching to increase team competency. 

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in software/computer/electrical engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience, broad and in-depth technical knowledge in large-scale software development in system-level or embedded software

• Proficient in C/C++ programming, Object-Oriented Design principles, real-time systems and multi-threading application development.

• Positive, result-oriented, strong analytical and excellent in problem-solving.

• Effective communication, strong project and team management skills. 

• Experience in software development life cycle and tools (e.g., version control, git, JIRA, CI/CD pipeline).

• Background in equipment control systems or semiconductor industry is a plus.
