Manager, Medical Board

The Manager, Medical Board is a critical member of the admin team in CMB’s office. He/she assists the Administrator, Medical Board to lead and supervise a team of administrative staff:

• Ensures smooth operations of the Office of the Chairman, Medical Board (CMB) 
• Coordinates and oversees divisional support to 13 departments under the purview of division of Medical Board 
• Works closely with the Administrator, Medical Board to support CMB in the planning and coordination of new initiatives and framework related to clinical services and medical manpower
• Supports the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) who oversees the Hospital’s framework for infection prevention and patient safety through his committees/workgroups and other platforms
• Supports the Director, Translation Medicine Oversight (TMO) to lead and drive strategic directions and priorities of Translational Medicine in the hospital. In addition, he/she manages and ensures smooth operations of the TMO Office.
• Works in collaboration with clinicians and other stakeholders to develop and review policies, programs and services
• Performs an advocacy role to manage relationships with and across clinical and non-clinical Divisions to drive influence and garner support from the ground on initiatives, programs and clinical agenda driven by CMB and the Medical Board. 
• Coordinates and supports emergency preparedness in the division of Medical Board

Job Requirements:

• General degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of supervisory work experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Leadership potential with the ability to assist in planning and driving new initiatives.
• Analytical, meticulous and organised. 
• A results-driven team player who is resourceful and able to work independently. 
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
