Manager, Process Engineer (CVD R&D)

Key Responsibilities\n\n * Manage engineers in utilizing techniques to characterize hardware, define methods and new technologies and apply them to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on extremely complex systems for entire range of products for division\n\n * Interact with key customers to resolve extremely complex process engineering issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) for an entire range of products for the division\n\n * Ensures effective product/technology demonstrations\n\n * Manages experimental tests, evaluates results and escalates critical technology issues to management\n\n * Determines product process specifications and equipment strengths, weakness and area of developmental opportunity\n\n * Leads collaboration efforts with executive managers and junior managers to ensure strategic execution\n\n * Leads market share improvement efforts\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * PhD or Master in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field\n\n * Research focus in semiconductor would be an added advantage\n\n * At least 5 years of experiences in supervisory or management capacity\n\n * At least 10 years of relevant experiences in thin film process development field\n\n * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internally and externally, including senior management\n\n * Problem-solver attitude with determination and quality-mindset management\n\n\n\n\nWork Location:\n\n * Science Park II (Moving to Tampines in end 2026)\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Enhanced)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
