Job Description - Manager, Sales & Account Management - Generous Compensation

The role is responsible for managing and maximizing SingPost’s business result from the assigned accounts and business development through a combination of world class account management, business development, and consultative selling. This role will develop relationships with effective solutions to ensure revenue growth, retention and customer satisfaction, in order to achieve the assigned sales, volume and financial targets.

Job Description

  • To develop, manage and execute an account development plan in accordance with goals and objectives for the account, including acquisition of new business, maintenance of existing business and maintaining or improving profitability.
  • Sell full range of Logistics solutions; from postal to courier services.
  • Accountable in providing concise, data/fact-driven information and analysis on opportunities, issues, trends and financial results inclusive of identification of alternatives and options.
  • Ensure that the accounts are serviced and managed properly and is positioned to grow and gain profitability in accordance to the account plan. This is done through direct and frequent contact with operating management to know the current state of service delivered to the account.
  • Highlight and bring attention to shortfalls as early as possible and to make recommendations to operating management at all levels for the placement of resources, plant and equipment in order to adequately service the account.
  • Update opportunities and pipelines in CRM and provide accurate Sales forecast.
  • Any other duties assigned.

  • Self-starter – Able to manage the regular deliverables and to identify where to invest more time for the better outcome without requiring step by step guidance.
  • Problem Solver – Solves complexity based on accurate identification of underlying factors/causes and understands implications including those outside of immediate area
  • Adaptability – Able and willing to adapt in a dynamic environment. Adopting a transformative mindset
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who can perform under stress, multi-task, and be able to work independently
