Manager / Senior Manager, Accounting (MNC/CBD/$10,000) (ID: 606545) - Start Immediately

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the Manager / Senior Manager, Accounting position.

Responsibilities: -

• Accounting 
  • Full sets of accounts.
  • Monthly, Quarterly and year end closing of accounts.
  • Review journals and reconciliation tasks like bank, inventory and intercompany transactions.
  • Involve with internal and external audits
  • Involve with Internal Control (JSOX) compliance and audit.
• Corporate Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax
  • Review Corporate Income Tax (Estimated Chargeable Income “ECI” and Annual Tax Return (“FORM C”) and related tax schedules.
  • Review CBCR report, Tax Heaven (CFC) report. 
  • Review Transfer Pricing documentation.
  • Withholding tax compliance and ad-hoc request to IRAS for Certificate of Residence.
  • Review Corporate tax treatment and implication arising from domestic and cross border transactions
  • Review GST returns and supplies and purchase schedules against reportable items.
  • Review GST treatment and implication arising from domestic and cross border transactions.
• IT
  • System implementation projects and RPA solutions

Requirements: -

• Degree in Accountancy or Professional Accountancy qualification with min. 10 – 15 years of related working experiences in accounting and taxation
• Min. 3 years of experiences in a Managerial position.
• Digital transformation experiences is required. Exposure to system implementation projects and RPA solutions will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of IFRS and SFRS
• Experienced in AS/400 system, SAP system, MYOB, Quick Book
• Good understanding of OECD BEPS 2.0 Pillar 1 and 2 will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, team player, good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Meticulous, good analytical skills and possess mature thinking.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision under tight timelines.
• Comfortable to travel overseas for business trip.
