Join DayOne – Shaping the Future of Data Infrastructure

DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we’ve built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we’re just getting started.

As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.

If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.

We are seeking a highly capable and operationally strong sustainability professional to lead sustainability governance, reporting, and programme coordination activities across the business.

This role combines people leadership, programme management, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability reporting expertise. You will help ensure sustainability commitments are translated into measurable, auditable, and business-aligned outcomes while supporting increasing customer, operational, and governance expectations.

The successful candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, bring strong governance instincts, and enjoy building scalable processes and operational maturity across a growing international business.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Sustainability Governance & Reporting
  • Lead quarterly and annual sustainability reporting cycles across the business
  • Strengthen governance, controls, and reporting processes to improve data quality, traceability, and assurance readiness
  • Support reporting across key sustainability metrics including:
    • emissions reporting
    • energy usage and efficiency
    • renewable energy tracking
    • water, waste, and circularity metrics
  • Build and maintain governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting dashboards, and control processes
  • Support executive and board-level sustainability reporting materials

Programme Delivery & Operational Improvement

  • Drive standardisation of sustainability processes, reporting definitions, and governance frameworks across regions
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting maturity, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Support sustainability programme tracking, delivery coordination, and issue management
  • Maintain governance artefacts including risk registers, decision logs, and programme dashboards

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering

  • Partner closely with stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, and Risk
  • Support customer sustainability questionnaires and disclosure requests
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and assurance providers where required
  • Translate sustainability data and reporting into concise, business-relevant insights for senior stakeholders

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a distributed sustainability team across multiple regions
  • Establish strong team operating rhythms, delivery accountability, and performance management practices
  • Coach and develop team capability across sustainability reporting, governance, and stakeholder management

What Success Looks Like

  • In your first 6–12 months, you will:
    • Improve sustainability reporting quality, consistency, and governance maturity
    • Strengthen reporting controls, traceability, and assurance readiness
    • Build strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships across the business
    • Establish scalable operating rhythms and clear accountability across the team
    • Deliver clear and actionable executive-level sustainability reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in sustainability governance, ESG reporting, sustainability programme management, or related advisory roles
  • Experience working within complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong preference for experience within:
    • data centres
    • digital infrastructure
    • critical infrastructure
    • energy-intensive industries
    • consulting environments supporting these sectors
  • Demonstrated people leadership and team development experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience supporting sustainability reporting frameworks and governance processes
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as GRI, ISSB / IFRS S1 & S2, GHG accounting, and sustainability assurance practices is advantageous

DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

If you're ready to grow with one of the fastest-moving companies in the data center industry, apply now and be part of our global journey.
