Managing Director

A Global Japanese Real Estate with an office in Singapore is looking for a Managing Director to lead their growing team and business.

• Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 Certificate or equivalent is required as the role requires regular communication and liaison with our Japan’s Head as well as communication with Japanese clients in Japanese.
• Extensive experience as a Managing Director or in a similar role.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate business
• Have experienced working in a Japanese company and familiar with the Japanese “cocoro” culture. (Hospitality mind)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with HQ and customers through constant communications.
• Attend to irregularities in operations and establish action plan(s) for the future.
• Prepare and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
• Reporting to the board, providing market insights and strategic advice.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive business plans.
• Responsible for the company's financial, operational and sales performance
• Supervising, guiding, and delegating executives in their duties.
• Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
• Providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance and development of Executives in the company.
