Managing Director Head of Singapore Investment Banking

A growing platform is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Singapore Investment Banking franchise . This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for driving growth, strengthening market presence, and building out the local platform.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the Singapore IBD business, with a mandate to reinvigorate and grow a lean but established platform that has remained relatively stable in recent years. You will oversee a team of approximately 15 professionals and play a hands-on role in originating and executing transactions, while continuing to build out coverage and capabilities across key product areas.]\

• Lead and manage the Singapore Investment Banking platform , with full P&L and strategic responsibility
• Drive origination and execution across:
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Equity Capital Markets
  • Financial Sponsor coverage
  • Debt Advisory
• Grow and strengthen the existing team through mentoring, hiring, and talent development
• Expand the firm’s market presence and client relationships in Singapore and the broader region
• Work closely with regional and global stakeholders to align strategy and execution

• Senior investment banker at Managing Director level , or a strong Director ready to step up
• Proven track record in M&A and/or ECM within the Singapore market
• Demonstrated experience building franchises, growing teams, and originating revenue
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to operate in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
• Singapore-based candidates strongly preferred (Singapore citizen or permanent resident advantageous)
