M&E Coordinator cum Drafter

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented M&E Coordinator cum Drafter to support the coordination, drafting, and execution of Mechanical & Electrical works for construction projects. The candidate will work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery and accurate technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise M&E shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate M&E services with consultants, subcontractors, architects, and structural teams.
• Attend coordination meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and site conditions.
• Monitor work progress and resolve technical or coordination issues on-site.
• Prepare submission documents and technical reports.
• Assist in material submissions, method statements, and project documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and updating of drawings and records.
• Support project team in planning and scheduling of M&E works.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor technical/site coordination issues.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the management to support project and team needs.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction or M&E coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM will be an advantage.
• Familiar with local construction practices and M&E coordination processes.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Independent, organized, and able to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in ACMV, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and submission processes.
• Familiarity with authority submissions and site coordination.
