Duties & Responsibilities
⢠Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E works.
⢠Management of material, equipment and manpower in his section to ensure proper and economic usage.
⢠In-charge of receipt, transfer and control of M&E construction materials in designated area.
⢠Enforce the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures in accordance to Project Safety manual.
⢠To implement and monitor that the permit to work system is properly followed on site.
⢠To follow all QA/QC procedures and implement CONQUAS standard for site works on site.
⢠Prepare daily report for related works,
⢠To ensure the progress of works is on schedule.
⢠Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
⢠Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
⢠Prepare method statement, shop drawings, CSD drawing, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
⢠To assist in updating site work status report.
⢠Assist the Project Manager on all M&E matters including preparing M&E Master Construction and T&C Schedule.
⢠Liaise and work with relevant authorities / subcontractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.
⢠Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
⢠Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
⢠Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
⢠Minimum 5 years of local experience in supervision of building M&E construction works
⢠A positive team leader with good judgment, prompt decision-making abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines
⢠Possess high level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills
⢠Has prior experience working on HDB M&E projects
Working hours:
Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm
Alternate Sat 8am - 5pm
