M&E Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and technically capable M&E Manager to lead and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical engineering activities across construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, solid technical knowledge of M&E systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with design specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, coordination, and integration of M&E systems installation and commissioning works to ensure seamless and timely execution

• Supervise M&E subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that all works are carried out to the required quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations

• Track and monitor the progress of M&E works on site, providing regular and accurate status updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders

• Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical issues and discrepancies, and to ensure the smooth integration of M&E systems with other building components

• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors on all M&E-related matters, maintaining effective communication channels and facilitating timely resolution of issues

• Enforce adherence to Safe Work Procedures and applicable safety regulations throughout all phases of M&E installation and commissioning

• Prepare, compile, and submit M&E documentation, progress reports, and project updates in accordance with the project schedule and stakeholder requirements

Requirements 

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with demonstrated expertise in M&E project management and at least one full project cycle completed from inception to handover

• Solid technical knowledge of M&E services, systems, and construction methodologies

• Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple work streams concurrently

• Experienced in supervising M&E subcontractors, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring contractual compliance

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports and documentation

• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously within overlapping timelines without compromising quality or delivery

• Familiar with Safe Work Procedures and workplace safety requirements applicable to M&E construction works

• A strong team leader who can collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage confidently with clients, consultants, and authorities
