Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-level)

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring product quality. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates who are passionate about manufacturing technology and eager to develop their technical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, high-tech environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies\n\n * Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products\n\n * Launches, releases, approves and implements or issues engineering change requests as required to support design engineering and Operations with new and existing products\n\n * Uses basic engineering and DFx principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing and/or product costs and improve delivered product quality; determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements\n\n * Writes and releases test procedures\n\n * Gathers operational and test data and evaluates results\n\n * Evaluates work methods, procedures and policies\n\n * Assists in determining root cause analysis for issues that arise during assembly and/or test of systems\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor Degree in Engineering\n\n * Prior internships/ academic projects in semiconductor or manufacturing area are a plus\n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\n * Good understanding of manufacturing principles and semiconductor industry\n\n * Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAD or engineering drawings is an advantage.\n\n * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.\n\n * Ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment where cleanroom suit is compulsory\n\n\n\n\nWorking Location:\n\n * Upper Changi/ Tampines\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\nUp to 1 Year\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
