Manufacturing Supervisor - RRKC

Job Highlights:

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and oversee operations in our newly established biotechnology manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in building a high-performing production team, establishing operational processes, and driving the success of our manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train and supervise a team of production operators to foster a collaborative work environment and meet plant's production objectives. Implement and oversee training plans to enhance employee skills, promote cross-training, and improve workforce flexibility.
• Daily Operations: Plan and monitor daily production activities to meet KPIs such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, failure rates, lead times, manpower allocation and space utilization. Conduct root cause analyses for production delays and downtimes, implementing corrective actions to enhance processes and prevent recurrence. 
• Process Setup: Establish and validating production processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational standards.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunity for continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and resource utilization. Lead data-driven initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall production outcomes.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and organizational procedures. Champion and sustain the 6S methodology to ensure a clean, organized, and safe production environment. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, R&D, Engineering to resolve operational challenges and optimize workflows.
• Inventory: Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits, oversee physical counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels

Role Requirement:

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Min. 6 years of experience in medical devices, biomedical, life sciences, or similar industries with 3 years of team supervision and training in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, with proven ability to enforce safety protocols.
• Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing principles, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities to motivate teams and provide constructive feedback.
