Marine Claims Executive (Shipping / Marine Insurance) Up to S$6,000 Mon–Fri

About the Company

Our client is a Singapore-based marine consultancy providing professional marine surveying, cargo inspection, casualty investigation, and marine insurance claims support services. The company works with shipowners, insurers, P&I Clubs, freight forwarders and maritime stakeholders across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage marine insurance claims from notification through settlement.
• Review shipping documents, survey reports and supporting documentation.
• Prepare claim submissions, technical reports and correspondence.
• Coordinate with clients, insurers, surveyors, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Analyse claim liability, damages and supporting evidence.
• Assist with marine casualty investigations and evidence collection.
• Liaise with local and overseas business partners where required.
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure timely reporting.
• Support business development activities and client relationship management.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Logistics, Shipping, Insurance, Law or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in marine insurance, shipping, maritime consultancy, marine surveying or claims handling is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant maritime qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of marine insurance, shipping operations or cargo documentation will be an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple assignments independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel locally or overseas when business needs require.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly salary: SGD 3,500 – 6,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
