Marine Superintendent

• Monitor and propose improvements to safety standards and systems
  


• Assist Marine Manager to ensure vessels comply to international maritime standards.
  


• Ensure commercial agreements are agreed with charter parties
  


• Develop Contingency plans and identify discrepancies
  


• Monitor all vessels to ensure that the certificates are up to date and monitor overall safety, nautical and commercial operations
  


• Identify risk conditions and provide support to technical department
  


• Support Master with pre-vetting inspection including SIRE inspection
  


• Monitor all navigation, communications and safety equipment
  


• Provide reports to clients for the assigned vessels
  


• Work closely with local authorities and class
  

Requirements

• Seagoing experience as a Master (at least CoC class 1 or 2) 
  


• Minimum Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or a relevant discipline
  


• Min 2 years shore-based experience in ship management or ship owner for Tankers.
  


• Possess good technical knowledge and communications skills
  


• Good knowledge in MS Office
  


• Independent and result oriented
  


• Team Player and able to travel
