Marine Technical Superintendent (Maritime) - Rewarding Work

Responsibilities: 

• Leading safety on all vessels, providing daily operational and technical assistance, and ensuring ship marine equipment is maintained safely and effectively. 
• Compliance with customer contracts and charter parties, maintaining timely certification of plant and equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs if needed.  
• Provide a weekly update to the marine manager. 
• Perform quarterly vessel inspections with owner consent, monitoring and improving the vessel's technical performance. 
• Plan and organize ship repairs and dry docking and ensure vessel works within its budget. 
• Proactively continues with efficient solutions for the organization and with client. 
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.  

Requirements: 

• At least 2-4 years of relevant working experience as a Maine Superintendent 
• Experience in Sailing as a Chief Engineer in the Offshore Industry 
• Experience in PMS and safety security management systems. 
• With problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
