Market Risk Specialist (Banking Industry, $9k, AVP) (ID: 694681)

Responsibilities:

• • Oversee market risk management by monitoring indicators, limits, trading books, and P&L.
  • Conduct monthly assessments of interest rate risks related to banking books and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Risk Management Committee (RMC) and senior management on market and liquidity risk findings.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to review limits and authorizations for various risk categories.
  • Administer and report on stress testing and conduct gap analyses for policy revisions in line with internal standards.
  • Enhance systems and models for risk measurement and ensure effective policy maintenance for market and liquidity risks.
  • Monitor and investigate abnormal treasury transactions, ensuring compliance with established policies.
  • Verify counterparty credit limits prior to executing FX and derivative transactions and manage credit exposures effectively.
  • Conduct regular assessments of country risk exposure and provide insights for credit risk management.
  • Address operational risk incidents as they arise and support risk assessment for new product developments.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management, collaborating effectively with team members.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in market risk and liquidity risk management within Banks or Financial Institutions.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel functions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
