Marketing & Communications Specialist - with Growth Opportunities

Overview

The Marketing & Communications Specialist reporting to the Group Marketing Director will have a passion for the hospitality industry, a strong background in marketing, and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies to elevate the brand's presence in the luxury market.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes content for marketing initiatives, corporate communications, and marketing collaterals.
• Monitors the marketing and communication efforts and their impact on business and revenue by conducting monthly analysis on the effectiveness of media coverage and programs.
• Works collaboratively with various parties – colleagues in other business divisions, and third-party vendors – to ensure the smooth flow of information, successful delivery of communication plans, and seamless coordination.
• Upholds the company’s brand and ensures consistency of brand image across all channels of communication. This includes supervising the execution of all brand messages, branding, and logo usage across all mediums and materials.
• Drafts and edits press releases, media pitches, internal memos, statements, Q&A’s, key messages, and other documents related to corporate initiatives and announcements.
• Manages content, writing, and editing newsletters, reports, and studies.
• Assists the team in business development efforts to achieve business goals.
• Coordinates the production and delivery of corporate stationery and collaterals to the various business units.
• Coordinates the monthly entertainment schedule and budgets for marketing-driven restaurant events.
• Coordinates the production requirements of marketing-driven restaurant events.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• A good degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity/related industry.
• Superior oral, written, and presentation skills, capable of developing content for external audiences in the forms of media releases, invitations, and marketing collateral, as well as managing media relations.
• Confident team player.
• Independent project manager, demonstrating resourcefulness and attention to detail.

Key Performance Indicators

• Meets business goals and targets for the venue through planning and executing marketing initiatives.
• Successfully coordinates with the operations and entertainment teams on event production and requirements.
• Meets day-to-day communication requirements on social media channels and takes the initiative to generate content.
• Ensures restaurant marketing initiatives are communicated to the media promptly for print and online coverage.
• Accurate, organized, and timely delivery of all assigned tasks.
