Job Description - Marketing Manager (Brand, Social & Projects)
Description
Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager — Brand, Social & Projects to support a leading mobility platform client. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, social evolution, and operational delivery, for someone who can move seamlessly across thinking, execution, and orchestration. This is a build-it, run-it, scale-it environment where marketing connects directly to product, operations, and real-world outcomes.
Role:
Lead the Brand & Social Engine
Own the end-to-end development and execution of high-impact brand campaigns across key strategic pillars — including local F&B revitalisation and senior inclusivity in mobility services.
Translate business priorities into bold, culturally resonant campaigns that cut through noise and drive real-world engagement.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders and agency teams across Creative, PR, Public Affairs, and Marketing Leadership to bring ideas from concept to execution with speed and precision.
Hold end-to-end accountability for brand and social OKRs across a fast-moving 6-month sprint cycle.
Ensure every campaign doesn’t just launch — it lands, travels, and drives impact.
Rebuild and Scale Social Momentum
Take ownership of the social ecosystem across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Lead a small in-house team to transition social from broadcast content to always-on cultural storytelling.
Build a content system that is consistent, insight-driven, and platform-native — not just reactive publishing.
Drive user-generated content (UGC) as a core growth lever, embedding community participation into the heart of the social strategy.
Work closely with agency partners to manage cadence, production workflows, and content calendars — ensuring speed, consistency, and relevance at scale.
Turn Complexity Into Clarity (and Execution)
Operate in a fast-moving, matrixed environment with multiple concurrent campaigns, priorities, and stakeholders.
Collaborate across Product, Marketing Technology, PR, Public Affairs, Creative, and Business teams to drive alignment and accelerate execution.
Translate ambiguity into structured action plans — and ensure delivery doesn’t lose pace or focus.
Ensure campaigns are not only creatively strong, but operationally executable and commercially aligned.
Lead With Ownership
Provide clear direction on tools, platforms, and Marketing Technology adoption in line with broader transformation goals.
Manage prioritisation across multiple workstreams while maintaining speed, quality, and business alignment.
Proactively identify risks, unblock teams, and keep momentum high across all initiatives.
Build a culture of accountability, clarity, and delivery excellence within the team.
You:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in marketing, brand, social, or integrated campaign roles
Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional marketing initiatives
Strong experience in social media strategy, content ecosystems, and community-led growth
Commercially minded — able to connect marketing execution to business performance outcomes
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior partners and align multiple teams
Comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environments
Experience managing teams, agencies, and external partners
Background in tech, platform, delivery, or consumer-facing businesses is a strong advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong narrative ability
Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
Contract Type: 6 months Fixed Term Contract
