Marketplace and Merchant Growth & Success Specialist

FoodMax is a full-category food and ingredient supply chain platform targeting the enterprise end. It focuses on providing one-stop supply chain solutions for government agencies, enterprises, hotels, and catering chain brands. By leveraging technology, digitalization and an integrated supply chain network, we simplify procurement while creating greater value for merchants and suppliers. As FoodMax expands its Marketplace business in Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Merchant Success & Marketplace Growth Manager to build and scale merchant programmes, drive marketplace growth and enhance the overall merchant experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Merchant / Supplier Acquisition

• Identify and engage prospective merchants to join the FoodMax Marketplace.
• Conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, social media and field visits where required.
• Qualify leads and support merchant sign-up activities.
• Coordinate with Business Development and Sales teams to convert prospects into active merchants.

2. Merchant / Supplier Onboarding

• Guide new merchants through the onboarding process.
• Ensure merchant profiles, product listings and required documents are completed accurately.
• Provide training and support to help merchants start selling successfully.

3. Merchant / Supplier Success & Operations

• Build strong relationships with merchants and provide ongoing support.
• Resolve merchant enquiries and operational issues promptly.
• Encourage merchants to participate in platform campaigns and promotions.

4. Marketplace Growth Support

• Execute merchant acquisition campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor merchant performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Support merchant engagement and retention programmes.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Merchant Operations, Customer Success or Marketplace Operations.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for growing a marketplace ecosystem.
