Master Planner

Job Summary 

The Master Planner is responsible for end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and material coordination to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Program Management, Procurement, and Engineering teams to align supply with demand in a high-growth environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to support manufacturing output and customer demand  

  Plan and release work orders (WO) based on production and engineering requirements  

  Manage short-term production planning, including rolling 10-day production plans  

  Partner with Sales and Program teams to align on order demand, priorities, and schedule changes  

  Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material availability  

  Lead daily shipment and production meetings to ensure on-time delivery  

  Work closely with logistics partners to coordinate shipment schedules  

  Manage urgent requests, pull-ins, and schedule adjustments in a dynamic environment  

  Provide forecast visibility and support demand planning activities  

  Identify new customer requirements and integrate them into production and shipping plans  

  Track and support departmental KPIs related to delivery, planning accuracy, and efficiency  

  Ensure documentation and processes comply with internal standards and ISO requirements  

  Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and operations 

Requirements 

  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field  

  5–8 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment  

  Strong understanding of production planning, material flow, and scheduling processes  

  Experience in high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred  

  Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools  

  Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams  

  Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment  

  Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
