Material Planner (US MNC/Immediate/SAP)

The Opportunity

• We are partnering with a global leader in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing technology, supporting high-volume production operations.
• This role is critical in production planning and material management that drive operational excellence and supply chain efficiency.
• Location: Upper Changi Road
• Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 530pm

The Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience using SAP or ERP systems for material planning and inventory transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Python, SQL, dashboard development, or data visualization tools will be preferred but not a must.

The Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials throughout the production cycle to support manufacturing requirements and quarterly build plans.
• Determine material requirements based on engineering and production schedules while maintaining inventory at planned levels.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow and timely fulfillment of production needs.
• Liaise with buyers to resolve material shortages and monitor material deliveries to support production schedules.
• Perform material planning and inventory transactions using SAP and ensure material standards are met while minimizing variances and non-conformances.
• Align daily shipment slotting with manufacturing and logistics requirements and support digital transformation projects through process improvement, dashboard development, and data analytics initiatives.
