Job Description - MD Head of Client Solutions, Institutional

Managing Director, Head of Institutional Sales, Asia - A Major and Leading Asset Manager

Our client is a major Asset Manager with strong institutional roots and a growing regional presence in Asia. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a Head of Institutional Sales mandate in Singapore.

This is a senior sales leadership mandate within the business development function, reporting to the Head of Client Solutions.

Responsibilities

The role is accountable for driving institutional client growth across Asia and key global markets, with full ownership of Revenue and AUM acquisition, Strategic client acquisition and Institutional platform expansion. The individual will lead and scale the Institutional Client Solutions franchise, positioning the firm as a trust partner to asset owners, consultants, and institutional investors. The role will undertake the following key accountabilities:

  • Lead and develop the Institutional Client Solutions team, providing clear strategic direction and performance oversight.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across investment, product, and operations teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Oversee key client initiatives and complex mandates, ensuring execution excellence
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor forums


Requirements

The role requires a minimum of 15 years' experience in financial services, with a strong track record in institutional sales and distribution, including proven ability to originate and close large institutional mandates. Candidates should be able to demonstrate deep understanding of multi-asset investment strategies and institutional client needs and come with an established regional client network across Asia and global markets. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and is a strategic thinker with commercial acumen and execution discipline. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential to succeed in this role.
