Job Description - Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Design, review, and coordinate mechanical engineering systems and activities.

Support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Review technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and material submissions.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on project requirements and engineering activities.

Conduct site inspections and monitor site progress to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.

Resolve technical and engineering issues on site.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and authority requirements.

Support troubleshooting and fault rectification of mechanical systems and equipment.

Prepare engineering reports, method statements, technical documentation, and project updates.

Participate in testing and commissioning activities to ensure proper system performance and reliability.

Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelorâs Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Strong technical knowledge of:

HVAC systems

Chilled water systems

Ventilation systems

Fire protection systems

Pumps and piping systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Familiar with local mechanical engineering regulations, standards, and authority requirements.

Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
