Mechanical Engineer (Entry-level)

Key Responsibilities\n\n * In support of design projects, coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve basic technical issues\n\n * Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics, and/or detailed drawings/specifications of limited scope under direct supervision\n\n * Perform and document engineering test reports under direct supervision\n\n * Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release under direct supervision\n\n * Perform engineering analysis under direct supervision\n\n * Troubleshoots a variety of mechanical problems of general difficulty under direct supervision\n\n * Effective use of engineering processes in the resolution of basic mechanical problems of limited scope\n\n * May be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle\n\n * Work with suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives.\n\n * Perform 3D modelling\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering\n\n * Basic knowledge or experiences in semiconductor industry\n\n * Prior 3D modelling experiences will be an added advantage\n\n * Skilled in Unigraphics - NX\n\n\n\n\nWork Location:\n\n * Fusionopolis (One North)\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\nUp to 1 Year\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nNo\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Enhanced)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
