Merchandising Executive (Taiseng/ Retail/ up to $3800/ 5D) - with Growth Opportunities

Brief Description: Tasks of Brand Merchandising Executive is to provide overall brand merchandising/buying support to Sales/Retail/Online Team

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for a range of product brands in a team.

·       Responsible for retail buying for our chain stores.

·       Analyze and assess the anticipated sales performance of products categorized by brand and stock item. Establish the optimal inventory threshold and initiate the Purchase Order (PO) process with the brand principal (BP) to fulfill demand and uphold the necessary inventory level.

·       Work out product costing and set retail pricing and determine competitiveness of prices

·       Prepare, issue and document payment vouchers for payment

·       Review slow-moving products and suggest how to increase their sell-through across all BU's (Business Units)

·       Ensure PO are placed in time according to brand principal's buy-in schedule

·       Work with Shipping Executive to ensure PO placed are received in time

·       Check stock and managed inventory and stock count/ stock level

·       Prepare and submit reports to Brand prinicipal as required

·       Support Corporate Sales enquiries to determine timeline for stock availability, negotiate for special bulk pricing to make target landed cost

·       Support Export Sales by checking on stock availability and working out retail pricing in foreign currencies

·       Coordinate with Brand Principle for support on visual merchandising at point of purchase including display fixtures, signages, images at Point of Purchase)

·       Coordinate purchase and shipping of samples, reviewing samples with sales/retail teams and providing feedbacks to BP

·       Assist to set up and tear down of new POS and sales events.

Requirements:

·       2-4 years’ experience in similar merchandising job function.

·       Familiar with handling multi-brands.

·       Experience in retail / FMCG experience is a must.
