Morgan McKinley is seeking a Merchant Acquisition Coordinator to be part of our growing client- Southeast Asia’s Leading Online to Offline (O2O) Mobile Platform that provides safe, accessible and affordable transport, food, package, grocery delivery, mobile payment and financial services to millions of Southeast Asians. 

Job Description:

  • The role will oversee the entire process within merchant acquisition and onboarding.
  • Meet, pitch and lead negotiations with assigned/prospected merchant leads to acquire and onboard them.
  • Deals with merchants from a diverse range of establishments.
  • Build relationships/partnerships with merchants and manage their performance and contribution to building the company's merchant network.
  • Handle day-to-day merchant queries (commercial & operational) and ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding and post-onboarding process.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services the company offers.
  • Bring value to merchants through cross-selling a wide variety of the company's services.
  • Responsible for achieving monthly acquisition targets.


Requirements:

  • Must have Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Should have at least 1-2 years of experience in Merchant Acquisition/Coordination or equivalent.
  • Having a Food and Beverage, Retail or E-commerce background is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build rapport and win over merchants.
  • Good business acumen, comfortable with numbers and analysing sales data.
  • A team player but also able to work independently. Self-driven, motivated and entrepreneurial; ability to own outcomes and make things happen.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
