Mgr, Ops & Cust Quality

1. Manages the company-wide administrative quality program and related business processes. This includes the definition, specification, and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for developing quality programs. Develops quality training and courses. Manages business segment with focus on business and operational results through use of continuous improvement methods. Provides leadership and support to subordinates in meeting quality assurance system requirements along with department and company goals and objectives with primary consideration for safety, quality, productivity and cost. Responsible for overseeing division's ISO Certification process. Handles special projects, as assigned. Guided by policies and resource requirements within business unit, department or sub-function Demonstrates in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own job family and basic knowledge of other related job families Applies understanding of the industry and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives Manages a generally homogeneous team; adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges Guides, influences and persuades others internally in related areas or externally
