Responsibilities:

1. Engage in and facilitate discussions for business needs assessment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both the company's requirements and desired system outcomes.
2. Participate actively and contribute insights during solution blue-printing sessions to align with best practices and propose suitable solutions.
   • Provide internal support for third-party software integrating directly with Great Plains (e.g., smartView, Smart Connect, EDI).
   • Develop thorough test cases for system integration projects, rigorously testing code changes or application installations before transitioning to the production environment.
   • Aid in data clean-up, validation, and consolidation within Great Plains to maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting, including validation of reports in tools like SSRS and Tableau.
   • Assist the IT team with various projects as required, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), discovery phases, and end-user training.
3. Assist the project manager in creating comprehensive project execution plans and documentation, collaborating with the team to produce high-quality system business requirement documentation, testing data, and test cases.
   • Ensure timely identification of system capabilities and issues, escalating effectively to the project manager.
   • Collaborate with the Dynamics GP vendor to execute projects, including implementing new modules, enhancing processes, and conducting training.
   • Work closely with the vendor's technical and development teams to deliver upgrades, customizations, integrations, and custom reports.
4. Collaborate with the company's Implementation team, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure successful implementation of GP projects.
   • Interface with management at various levels within vendor organizations and internal teams.
   • Manage expectations and communication throughout the support process.

Qualifications

• Five years of consulting and development expertise serving as a functional or business lead within the Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) environment.
• Proficiency in adhering to GP best practices, including the ability to collaborate effectively with vendor solutions, preferably within a partner-oriented context.
• Sound understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, and Architecture versions 2018 and beyond, coupled with an exceptional grasp of core Microsoft GP modules.
• Hands-on experience managing full implementation life cycles across modules, with additional exposure to development and knowledge of Dexterity.
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL syntax, Dynamics GP table structure, and utilizing SQL for report and SQL view design.
• Solid understanding of Financials and Supply Chain operations. • Familiarity with technology solutions tailored to the Palm Oil/Agri Industry is considered advantageous.
