Middle Market Team Head

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic banker to lead a team in our client's Middle Market segment. This position offers the opportunity to manage a high-performing team while building and strengthening relationships with mid-cap clients across diverse industries.

Team & Reporting Line

You will report directly to the Department Head and manage a team of 4-5 Relationship Managers covering a diverse portfolio of mid-cap names in Singapore and across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic leadership to the team and identify new business leads and cross-sell opportunities
2. Deepen existing client relationships and enhance portfolio value
3. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence by combining outstanding client relationship management with rigorous risk assessment and mitigation
4. Ensure credit quality and appropriate returns on risk across all transactions
5. Understand and ensure full compliance with all relevant internal and external standards, regulations and procedures

Required Qualifications

1. University graduate with at least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate and commercial banking
2. Proven ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers
3. Demonstrated capability to proactively develop and originate client solutions
4. Strong understanding of a comprehensive suite of corporate and investment banking products
5. Advanced understanding of risk management and risk mitigation strategies
6. Proven track record in team management, thou not a pre-requisite
