MNC: Data Analyst- Accounts/Reporting (Python/SQL/Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query)

*Seeking for a Data Analyst with minimum 1 year of hands-on automation/business process improvement with Python/SQL/Power Automate, Power BI and Power Query tools*

THE COMPANY

With their international and solid presence, this Commodities MNC is expanding. They are seeking for a Data Analyst to be part of the Finance/Accounts team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand the current Accounting processes and workflow
2. Automate, design and streamline Accounting work processes using Python, Power Automate and other Microsoft ecosystem tools (repetitive tasks, reporting, AP processes)
3. Ensure efficient data validation, extraction and consolidation processes from varying data sources
4. Use and maintain data visualizations, reports and Power BI dashboards for financial reporting
5. Enhance data quality and governance by ensuring reporting accuracy
6. Document automation initiatives
7. Conduct training for the finance team
8. Act as backup for the Accounts Payable function
9. Work closely with other relevant departments (Finance, IT teams etc)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Accounting/Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics/Commerce/IT Computer Science or any other relevant education
2. Minimum 1 year of hands-on Accounting process automation/business process improvements
3. Strong hands-on experience with advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, complex formulas), Python scripting, SQL, Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI
4. Handled data validation, extraction, transformation and reporting
5. Organized, meticulous, has good interpersonal and communication skills
