• Manage the Mutual Fund platform and own the P/L.
• Drive the product strategy by targeting both Wealth Management and Corporate customers and providing executable product ideas to Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants.
• For the product platform, the focus is on robustness, control and compliance.

about the manager/team

• Provide the Relationship Managers and Investment Consultants with fund recommendations, market intelligence, monitoring and model portfolios.
• Provide investment advisory support as well as championing of fund products to both local and regional sales team.
• Work with both internal business units and external asset managers in delivering advisory communications and training.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in fund product management, fund selection / due diligence for Mutual Funds
• An understanding of Hedge Funds and Private Markets will be advantageous
• Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders in a cooperative manner
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with relevant experience in conducting product training to RM and IC and marketing seminar to Wealth Management customers;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Pro-active and goal orientated. Possess teamwork skills such as listening, communication and conflict management;
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires written communication in Traditional Chinese with Mandarin-speaking colleagues in Taiwan and Wealth Management customers in Greater China.
