Network Engineer - Air Traffic Management

As a Network Engineer, you will design, update, and document complex network architectures, solution drawings, and equipment bills of materials in line with strict security standards. The role involves configuring, loading, validating, and handing over network hardware to software integration teams across both factory and customer sites. Additionally, the engineer provides deep system expertise to identify architectural risks and troubleshoot configuration changes within distributed, real-time software systems.

Responsibilities:

·        Develop or update solution architecture drawings and diagrams, cost templates (devis), the List of Supply (LOS) / Bill of Materials (BOM), and interfaces

·        Develop or update network contributions to the Solution Specification and Design documentation, Network Acceptance Test Procedures, and other associated network integration documents

·        Define equipment configuration for the ATM solution

·        Load, configure, validate, and hand over equipment to Software Integration in the factory and on customer sites

·        Support configuration changes to system platforms in factory and customer sites.

·        Identify risks at solution architecture level and propose where possible alternate validated solutions

·        Provide system and networking expertise

Essential Requirements:

·        Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or relevant experience

·        5+ years of experience in similar positions on projects delivering complex software-centric real-time systems

·        Demonstrated experience in the design of infrastructure and network architectures

·        Demonstrated experience in the design of network architectures in line with security standards and policies

·        Sound level of knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux Operating System (Red Hat distribution preferred)

·        Familiarity with a wide range of computer and networking hardware (Cisco preferred)

·        Scripting skills (TCL/TK, Perl, and Shell)

·        Experience with large and distributed networked computer systems

·        Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
