Job Description

The Role:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities while promoting the organisation’s solutions and value proposition to prospective customers.


• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve assigned revenue and business objectives.


• Grow existing accounts while building a strong pipeline of new customers and business opportunities.


• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers, partners, principals and key stakeholders.


• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with vendors to support business growth and solution development.


• Develop business strategies for key market segments to strengthen market presence and expand business opportunities.


• Prepare and develop solution proposals based on customers’ business requirements and identified opportunities.


• Monitor market developments, customer needs and competitive trends to identify potential areas for growth.


• Support annual budgeting and track the performance of key business activities against business objectives.

What are we looking for?

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline.


• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development or managing and growing a business portfolio.


• Prior experience working with government or public-sector clients would be advantageous.


• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify, qualify and close business opportunities.


• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and drive revenue growth.


• Good negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels of an organisation.


• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach.


• Well-organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage business information and follow through on priorities.


• Good understanding of market trends and business development practices.
