Court Operations Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a service-oriented and organised individual to support court operations, case administration and stakeholder engagement.

Salary

$3,200 – $3,600/month

Contract Duration

1 year

Working Hours

  Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm

  
  


• 
  

  Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

  
  


• 
  

  Rostered duties may include weekends and Public Holidays.

Job Description

• 
  

  Support Judges in court proceedings, including hearing schedules and court arrangements.

  
  


• 
  

  Handle counter services, assist court users, check documents and process applications.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate hearings, mentions, case conferences and other court events.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain case records, databases and operational systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to enquiries on court processes and provide assistance to court users and stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Liaise with government agencies, community partners and other stakeholders on case administration.

  
  


• 
  

  Support process improvement, digitalisation initiatives and updates to standard operating procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  At least 3 years of relevant working experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Service-oriented and comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Organised, meticulous and able to manage competing priorities.

  
  


• 
  

  Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable using digital systems and technology.

  
  


• 
  

  Able to exercise sound judgement when handling confidential information.

  
  


• 
  

  Able to work independently and collaboratively.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in public sector operations, legal or social service administration, customer service, or case management is an advantage.

  
  


• 
  

  Willing to work onsite and perform rostered duties, including weekends and Public Holidays when required.
