We are looking for a NOC Operation Manager (Shift) to join us in our mission to enhance Singapore’s competitiveness as a trusted ICT hub for citizens and businesses.

As a NOC Operations Manager, you will be part of team to manage the Government IT support infrastructures and services. You will manage a team of engineers with strong technical competency to support the Government IT infrastructure and services and ensuring high levels of availability, performance, security and good user experience across the Whole-of-Government (WOG).

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

Operational Management

  • Management of the team of 24x7 Network Operation Center engineers, including all aspects of people and performance management.
  • Ensure the overall availability and health of Whole-of-Government (WOG) infrastructure and services.
  • During high severity incidents with major disruptions to the organization, you will act as an Incident Manager driving ICT service restoration by ensuring all relevant parties are engaged, and stakeholder communications are completed as per defined incident process schedule.
  • Drive and work with various support teams (internal and external) to resolve service disruptions and restore services as rapidly as possible.
  • Ensure timely escalation and track incident life cycle till resolution.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely communications are sent to senior management to update on the incident status and impact.
  • Prepare weekly executive summaries and statistical reports on high priority incidents and utilization for senior management using data analytics tools.
  • Document and update NOC operation processes and troubleshooting guides.
  • Identify areas for process and efficiency improvements within NOC.
  • Participate and contribute product or enhancement projects.
  • Plan and involved in Business Continuity Plan.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in NOC operations, incident and people management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Data Analytics tools such as PowerBI and Tableau (Preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge on Change Management and IT Service Management framework and processes (Certified ITIL v4 preferred)
  • Experience working with a wide range of enterprise technologies, such as Network Infrastructure, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, PKI, Anti-virus, Disaster Recovery and Video conferencing and Network monitoring systems.
  • Experience in using Data Virtualisation tools like Tableau to develop dashboards.
  • Good deductive reasoning and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to work independently and as a good team player.
  • Must be willing to work on rotating shifts.
